We’re thrilled to reveal our readymade cushion collection!

And it doesn’t get much more exciting that working with Three Birds Renovations for their latest renovation in Glenhaven, House Eleven.

Bonnie and Louisa visited us earlier this year with the brief of “Hamptons” and Florence Broadhurst fabrics were selected throughout to add pattern and colour.

We have to say, what utterly lovely people. Having followed their raging success over the last few years, it’s lovely to see it hasn’t affected their naturally warm and down-to-earth vibe.

Lucky enough to have had a walk-through of the completed house, we can tell you it’s just as stunning in real life (no photography tricks!)

First up, the entryway in Episode 1

Miko euro cushions (above) were made for the custom bench seats. Miko is an Asian-inspired motif carrying all the romance of Japanese drama and dance. In spite of it being a strictly structured and formal design, the shapes alone exude romance. Because of this it is visually soft and elegant and the scale of Miko makes it a very usable design in many interior situations.

If you’re also loving the bench covers and bolsters, well that’s Florence Broadhurst too! Hessian Antique on Arizona base cloth is available through our trade business, Materialised. If you’re not trade no problem, you’ll find it over on The Foam Booth who made the foam and covers for us.

Episode 2 saw the reveal of the stunning kitchen, with another of our Florence Broadhurst by Materialised fabrics, Double Quarter Stripe Navy, on the bench seat by The Foam Booth.

Then for the amazement of the Master bedroom reveal in Episode 3.

“I think it’s pretty obvious in this space the #colourmehamptons is the Florence Broadhurst bedhead, the cushions and the Tile Cloud patterned tiles. And I think it’s so fresh!” – Bonnie Hindmarsh, Three Birds Renovations.

“When the key colour is blue it’s important to go towards the deep navy’s and duck egg tones to avoid looking too coastal holiday home. For this project it was all about keeping that blue crisp and fresh, therefore printing onto our Arizona base cloth was a winner!

The look was softened and made into a luxurious hybrid by bringing in our velvet Palermo base cloth into the cushions, adding a richness to the blues which worked magically as another texture.” Chloe Evans, Textile Designer, Florence Broadhurst Fabrics.

We are sure you’ll agree that the results are sensational! They are so clever. We’d hand them over our reno budget any day! Make sure you tune in to the current series on Monday evenings at 8pm EST (with 3 more episodes to go)

What size was this bed? I believe the max width of the fabric is only enough for a double? What is the solution if you want to cover a queen?

Hello Kyla, I’m unsure of the bed size. We had Heatherly Design make the bedhead for Three Birds Renovations using our Japanese Panels Lagoon design printed on Arizona base cloth which is approx. 137cm wide. It’s their Giselle bedhead. Using a pro upholsterer means you don’t see joins in the fabric (and they may have requested to have it printed ‘railroaded’ so that the design runs up the roll, meaning no limits to the width) Best to speak to Heatherly and they can advise for your specific requirements.
